What is Leadership?  Leadership is a class that combines Student Government with the reading class requirement.  It is only for those 7th and 8th graders who want to take an active part in planning and implementing activities at AMS.  This class gives students “real life experience” in that they have the freedom to create the atmosphere at AMS for the year that they are in charge.

How do I get in the Leadership class?  In order to get inside this class you must fill out an application form.  If you are a 7th grader and you want a position in the class such as President, Treasurer, Historian, and so on, you must be elected by students at the end of the year.  If you want to be a delegate, in whom you help the people that are elected, you must also fill out an application and be selected by the Leadership adviser, Mrs.Sublett.

What do you do in this class?  Each person in the Leadership class has certain jobs that they do around the school.  Things that we do as a group are things such as: Dances, Pride days, Assemblies, Pep rallies, Fundraisers, Spirit week.
